As part of his “Dust Lane” tour, Yann Tiersen will hold a concert on December 4th at Zagreb’s Culture Factory. The French musician and composer has thus far released thirteen albums and composed music for numerous films.
French musician and composer, Yann Tiersen, will hold a concert on December 4th at Zagreb’s Culture Factory as part of his “Dust Lane” tour – named after a recently released album.
Yann Tiersen became interested in music as a four year old boy; first learning to play the piano and then, two years later, the violin. In the world of music he is known as the composer for films such as “Amelie” and “Goodbye Lenin” among many others. He has thus far released thirteen albums.
At his upcoming concert in Zagreb, the audience will have an opportunity to enjoy the music from his latest album, “Dust Lane”, on which he has worked for the past two years. Apart from percussion, the talented musician played all the other instruments that feature on this album, including: acoustic guitar, mandolin, analogue synthesizer, etc.
