Zagreb awaits Bob Dylan

As part of his tour of southeast Europe, the musical legend and one of the greatest singer-songwriters of all time, Bob Dylan, is coming to Zagreb. His performance has been announced for June 7th and it will take place in open-air at the Šalata sports center.

On June 7th, Zagreb will be visited by the musical legend, Bob Dylan, one of the greatest singer-songwriters of all time. As part of his current tour of southeast Europe, the Zagreb concert will be held in open-air at the Šalata sports center.
After the legendary band Metallica, which will perform on May 16th, and only two days after the concert by Deep Purple on June 5th, the Croatian capital will get to enjoy yet another fantastic music treat. This is more proof that, over the last few years, Zagreb has become an unavoidable destination on touring routes of the world’s greatest music stars. Upcoming concerts in the Croatian capital have also been announced by the legendary Guns’n’Roses, Jon Bon Jovi, and many others.
Bob Dylan, born Robert Allen Zimmerman, is one of the greatest singer songwriters of the 20th century, as well as a cult personality of the global music scene. In his songs, he often expresses a revolt against politics and social dogmas; he has also used them to speak out about the problems of religion and instigated eruptive reactions… even with his love songs! Although he is now almost 70 years old, he is still considered a rebel by many fans. However, despite his bad-boy image, his songs such as "Blowin' in the Wind", "The Times They Are A-Changin", "Like a Rolling Stone", "Just Like a Woman", "All Along the Watchtower", and "Lay Lady Lay" are still enjoyed by younger generations, which is not surprising as his influence on rock music continues to be both huge and undisputable.
He was the first to insist on lyrical quality and his music opened the door for other singers with less-attractive voices. Bob Dylan was one of the first performers to play folk rock and country rock, while his album "Blonde on Blonde" (1966) was the first double album in history. Moreover, his then still-unreleased recording with The Band, "The Great White Wonder" (1969), was the first bootleg album in the history of rock music!
In his forty-five year career he has released forty four albums, including "The Freewheelin' Bob Dylan", "Blonde on Blonde", "Blood on the Tracks", "Desire" and "Love and Theft", as well his more recent "Modern Times".
