Zagreb Coffee & Chocofest

Between February 6th and 9th, the exhibition space of the Croatian Association of Artists will be the venue for the Zagreb Coffee & Chocofest. Once again, visitors are in for a treat at the sweetest event in town!

Fans of chocolate and coffee brace yourselves for the Zagreb Coffee & Chocofest, which will take place between February 6th and 9th in the exhibition space of the Croatian Association of Artists whose address is Trg Žrtava Fašizma. Visitors to this sweetest event in town can look forward to a host of sweet surprises: tasting new flavours, finding out how the best chocolate is made, cooking, playing, buying most of the products, and having a great time in general. The festival will also feature an exhibition of works by Karen Eland, a talented American painter – the first to use coffee and chocolate as her working materials. As a special treat, visitors will see the painter at work during the festival. An Albanian artist, Saimir Strate, will show the event visitors how he creates art with coffee beans. Several of his gigantic mosaics have been entered in the Guinness Book of World Records. The professional coffee cup fortune teller, Galina Dmitri, will be there to read your future from your cup of coffee.

The Zagreb Coffee & Chocofest is being organized under the joint auspices of Zagreb’s mayor, Milan Bandić, and the Zagreb Tourist Board, and it brings together small and medium-sized chocolate manufacturers from Croatia, Slovenia and Russia. Local and international manufacturers and distributors will present the latest trends in the coffee and chocolate industries; there will be educational workshops, prize giveaways and a traditional charity event… However, that is not all! On February 8th, visitors can attend the Saturday Night Coffee and Choco Fever when the festival premises will remain open until midnight. The final day of the festival will be reserved for children, who will show off their creativity by making edible figurines.
