Visitors of Disney On Ice, the festival of icy magic that will take place at Arena Zagreb between December 4th and 7th, can look forward to a winter fairy-tale based on the best animated film of all time – Disney’s “Frozen”, which won the prestigious American Academy Award.
Between November 6th and 8th, the Trešnjevka Culture Centre will be the venue of the 8th PSSST Silent Film Festival, a unique and exciting presentation of the silent film art which attracts a lot of film aficionados.
Until March 15, 2015, the Klovićevi Dvori Gallery will feature an interesting exhibition, “I Love Mathematics”, where visitors will have the opportunity to learn all things interesting about numbers, formulas and laws of mathematics in an interactive way.
This year’s international festival of organic wines, taking place at the Westin Hotel on December 13th, will feature more than 70 top wine-makers from Europe, while visitors will have the opportunity to taste more than 200 exquisite wines.
Between November 11th and 16th, the grounds of the Zagreb Fair will be the venue for the 37th Interliber – International Book and Teaching Appliances Fair, which will offer presentations of recent publications as well as various other concurrent events.
On November 8th, the Lauba Gallery will be the venue for the 4th Electronic Beats Festival Zagreb, which will feature the best known DJs from the global electronic music scene.
The events of this year’s Vip Zagreb Jazz Festival are taking place throughout the whole year in celebration of the festival’s 10th anniversary. Audiences at the Zagreb Youth Theatre can expect three music treats in November, featuring performances by top class musicians from the global jazz scene.
On November 15th, the Culture Factory will feature a performance by the electro/industrial band Combichrist, who will be visiting Zagreb for the 4th time in order to promote their latest, 6th studio album, “We Love You”.

Ich habe mich ganz besonders auf Zagreb gefreut, vor allem, weil meine Mutter mit mir reiste. Meine Leute haben vorher alles genau erforscht, damit wir es schaffen, die wichtigsten Sachen in der Stadt zu sehen!

Wir sind zum ersten Mal in Zagreb. Es gefällt uns hier sehr gut. Wir werden es zwar nicht schaffen, an die Küste zu fahren, aber wir werden uns erholen und ein wenig durch die Stadt spazierengehen...

Es tut mir leid, dass ich nicht länger bleiben und ein wenig mehr von der Stadt sehen konnte, aber Jarun mit dem See und den Nachtclubs hat mich begeistert. Es hat alles was man für eine gute Party braucht.

Der Konzertsaal Lisinski hat mir sehr gut gefallen. Es war ein ganz besonderes Gefühl dort aufzutreten, weil die Menschen aufmerksam zugehört und die Musik mit ihren Herzen gefühlt haben. Lisinski ist ein wunderschöner Konzertsaal und ich fühle mich geehrt, dass ich dort auftreten darf. Mein erster Auftritt im Lisinski ist mir in sehr schöner Erinnerung geblieben.

Jesse Eisenberg war im Herbst 2007 längere Zeit in Zagreb: Zagreb ist eine unglaubliche Stadt. Ich habe es genossen, die alten Stadtteile zu besichtigen und abends ging ich in die Clubs. Es hat mich auch begeistert, dass Österreich und Italien so nahe sind, so dass ich an den Wochenenden nach Venedig, Mailand, Ljubljana, Graz, Split u.v.a. Städte fuhr.
