The City Office for Strategic Planning and Develop has developed mZIPP – City in the Palm of Your Hand, a free mobile app. The application quickly and easily enables you to see information about the place you are in all in one place and offers practical help in getting around.
Emirates, the largest airline in the world, will from 1 June be flying every day from Croatia to Dubai. Tickets start at 399 Euro, visas are not required for Croatian citizens, passengers will travel in a Boeing 777-300 and have the option of first class onboard services on their flight to the Middle East.
The British budget carrier Monarch Airlines has announced that is starting up two new routes to Zagreb. Monarch will fly between Zagreb and London three times a week: Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 28 April 2017. Between Zagreb and Manchester Monarch will fly twice a week between 29 April and 28 August 2017.

The most entertaining and magnificent masked ball in Zagreb will be held on 25 February in the Vatroslav Lisinski Concert Hall. Revellers at Lisinski this year will dance in fancy dress to the sounds of the pop group Colonia and its charismatic singer Indira.
In the Museum of Arts and Crafts from 2 February to 5 March visitors can enjoy an exhibition of photographs of the musical genius and artistic chameleon David Bowie, taken by Brian Rašić, as part of the Rovinj Photodays Festival.
The darlings of Zagreb audiences, the great Irish-American folk punks the Dropkick Murphys are playing in Zagreb’s Tvornica kulture on 7 February 2017.

Jesse Eisenberg war im Herbst 2007 längere Zeit in Zagreb: Zagreb ist eine unglaubliche Stadt. Ich habe es genossen, die alten Stadtteile zu besichtigen und abends ging ich in die Clubs. Es hat mich auch begeistert, dass Österreich und Italien so nahe sind, so dass ich an den Wochenenden nach Venedig, Mailand, Ljubljana, Graz, Split u.v.a. Städte fuhr.

Es tut mir leid, dass ich nicht länger bleiben und ein wenig mehr von der Stadt sehen konnte, aber Jarun mit dem See und den Nachtclubs hat mich begeistert. Es hat alles was man für eine gute Party braucht.

Der Konzertsaal Lisinski hat mir sehr gut gefallen. Es war ein ganz besonderes Gefühl dort aufzutreten, weil die Menschen aufmerksam zugehört und die Musik mit ihren Herzen gefühlt haben. Lisinski ist ein wunderschöner Konzertsaal und ich fühle mich geehrt, dass ich dort auftreten darf. Mein erster Auftritt im Lisinski ist mir in sehr schöner Erinnerung geblieben.
