Once again, Zagreb’s Žar Ptica Theatre will be host to the international review of the best plays by professional children’s theatres, named the 'Naj, Naj, Naj Festival', which will take place for the 13th “lucky” consecutive year, between 22 and 27 March.
Glass, My Second Body – a display by the Croatian artist Gordana Drinković, who uses her breath, imagination and skill to create items from glass, is the latest exciting exhibition opened to visitors at Zagreb’s Museum of Arts and Crafts.
Zagreb’s well-known Klovićevi Dvori Gallery, located in the Upper Town, gained considerable cultural reinforcement last month in the form of a club, Žedno Uho, which was opened in the same space. The club’s mission, just like the gallery’s mission, is to present the best contemporary musicians/artists to its visitors.
The Irish Croatian Cultural Society will partner up with the Ferdinand Budicki Old-timer Club to mark St. Patrick's Day by organizing Irish Week between 11 and 17 March. The main venue will be Petar Preradović Square, whereas some of the events will also take place in the recently opened Ferdinand Budicki Car Museum.
One of the greatest contemporary pop divas, Beyonce, will once again be visiting Zagreb on her world tour, “The Mrs. Carter Show”, where she will be performing a concert on 17 April, only two days after the launch of the tour.

Chocoholics, pay attention! Between the 9th and 14th of February, Zagreb’s central square will be the venue for the 2nd Regional Chocolate Festival – The Zagreb Chocofest, which is once again expected to feature some of the best Croatian as well as foreign chocolate makers. Apart from indulging in the sweet flavours of various chocolates, visitors will have the opportunity to learn many interesting things about chocolate as well.
As of March 23rd, anyone interested in Pablo Picasso’s work will have the opportunity to see the largest exhibition of his paintings and sculptures ever shown in this part of Europe! The exhibition will take place at the Klovićevi Dvori Gallery and it will feature a total of 56 works and about 40 photographs. The “best story ever told about the greatest artist of the 20th century” will remain open until July 7th.
