    The third Photo Marathon coming soon

    The third Photo Marathon, which will take place in Zagreb in September, will once again attract a large number of competitors who will have the task to take 24 photos in 12 hours. In 2007, Zagreb joined the photography contest that started in Copenhagen and subsequently conquered numerous cities worldwide.

    A large exhibition of undersea photographs from the Croatian Adriatic

    A large outdoor exhibition of undersea photographs from the Croatian Adriatic, entitled: “Incomparably Blue”, is now open to the public on the banks of Bundek Lake. The exhibition’s opening coincides with the European water polo championship and the exhibited works are by eminent underwater photographers from Croatia, Slovenia and Italy.

    Folk customs of Susedgrad at the main city square

    The popular Potepuhi of Zagreb – the association for studying and promoting folk customs and music – has once again organized the Susedgrad autumn. The 6th edition of this event will take place this year from the 8th to the 10th of October, and part of it will be held in the main city square.

    Seven fairs in one

    Between the 22nd and the 26th of September, as part of the 86th Zagreb International Autumn Fair, the oldest and best-known fair in the city, there will be as many as seven thematically different exhibitions: energy fair, construction fair, consumer goods fair, Days of Fashion, the fair of music and multimedia, collective exhibitions of foreign countries, and for the first time, the Fair of alternative lifestyle, healthy living and borderline areas of science.

    European water-polo championship

    The hot summer days in Zagreb will be additionally heated by the atmosphere of the European water-polo championship. This event is due to be held between August 29th and September 11th at the swimming pools of the Mladost sports park, along the bank of Sava River. Considering the success Croatia has had with this sport in the past, and the expected arrival of numerous spectators, we can confidently announce this as a great entertainment opportunity.
