I am looking forward to Zagreb as a destination where I always feel good. It seems it has been too long since the last time I was here, although it was just a year or so.

Zagreb has recently got the first printed publication that provides an in-depth look into Mirogoj, the best known cemetery in Zagreb, and its rich cultural and historic heritage. This new brochure also answers the question as to why this cemetery is one of the most attractive tourist landmarks in the city.
The best known gospel choir in the world, the “Angels in Harlem” Gospel Choir from New York, will be holding a concert in Zagreb for the first time. Featuring a repertoire of Christmas songs, the concert will take place on December 4th at the Vatroslav Lisinski Concert Hall.
To mark 140 years of existence, members of the Zagreb Philharmonic Orchestra will be hosts to numerous renowned names from the world of classical music in the 2010/2011 season. Among others, the Vatroslav Lisinski Concert Hall will be the venue for performances by Chinese violoncello sensation, Ning Feng, and the famous Finnish pianist, Olli Mustonen, while a festive season atmosphere will be greatly inspired by the performance of the London Symphony Orchestra, which is scheduled for December 18th.
The popular band, Bon Jovi, will begin their European tour, “The Circle Tour”, which includes 24 cities, with a concert in Zagreb, at Maksimir stadium, on June 8th.
Along with the five existing programmes, this year’s Zagreb Film Festival will feature two additional new programmes, which are not going to be screened on the SC premises. Instead, this year's programme is going to be shown on several locations in Zagreb – at the cinemas Europa, Tuškanac, and Dokukino Croatia as well as the Dance Centre and the Museum of Contemporary Art.
Offering an overview of the best works of design created over the past two years, the Museum of Arts and Crafts will feature the “Exhibition of Croatian Design 0910”, in which almost three hundred design solutions will be presented to the public.
Until November 21st, the Klovićevi dvori gallery will be the venue for a retrospective exhibition of works by Robert Auer, the great Croatian portraitist and a contemporary of Vlaho Bukovac. This exhibition serves to uphold the continuing practice of presenting works by top-class Croatian painters.
The Palace Hotel, located in the heart of Zagreb, next to Zrinjevac park, is the first Croatian hotel to become a member of the Worldhotels chain.
