Until February 15th, the Zagreb Archaeological Museum will feature an exhibition: The Neanderthal Trail. It has been conceived as a cultural and tourist itinerary; an invitation to visit the most impressive archaeological sites featuring remains of the Neanderthal culture in Croatia.
On March 11th, the club Aquarius at Zagreb’s Jarun Lake will be the venue for a concert by the alternative American band Wilco, which will be performing in Croatia for the first time and promoting their latest album “The Whole Love”.
Until March 20th, the Typhological Museum of Zagreb will feature a representative exhibition of devices and instruments for treating eye diseases from the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The items are part of a valuable ophthalmological collection from the museum’s holdings.
For the seventh consecutive year, many of Zagreb’s museums will take part in this year’s cultural event “Museum Night”, which will take place on January 27th. On that night, visitors can look forward to numerous surprises and many different programmes.
The newest business and shopping centre in Zagreb, Green Gold, on Radnička Street 52, has recently become a new nightlife hub of the city; six new clubs with daily entertainment for various tastes can be found there.
As of recently, a visit to Zagreb’s Museum of Contemporary Art can turn into a good shopping trip due to its new feature – the Shopworks store, where numerous items inspired by the works presented in the museum’s “Collection in Motion” can be purchased.
Until February 12th, the Klovićevi Dvori Gallery will feature a retrospective exhibition by Mate Celestin Medović, an artist who made a great impact on Croatian modern art.
