“2Cellos” Finally Play at Home!

They have been playing with Elton John. They have become a global sensation. Finally, on 21st December, they will play in Zagreb. Obviously, we are talking about the “2Cellos” – the young Croatian cello players, Luka Šulić and Stjepan Hauser, who have been thrilling aficionados all over the world with their string adaptations of famous rock hits.

Make sure not to miss the solo concert by the sensational cello duo “2Cellos”. The Zagreb audience will finally have the pleasure to attend this performance on 21st December at the Vatroslav Lisinski Concert Hall. The duo is made up of two exceptionally talented musicians - Luka Šulić and Stjepan Hauser, known as “2Cellos”. They have been away from Croatia for months while they have been appearing as the opening act for the legendary Elton John on his recent international tour.

Thus, the concert in Zagreb will be a true pre-Christmas present to all those who manage to get hold of tickets, which will certainly be in great demand as the concert will present the rare opportunity to enjoy the music of this sensational string duo in their homeland. A year ago they were known about in only small musical circles. Who could have imagined this kind of success one year later? Their story is truly unique.

The “2Cellos” are young musicians from Croatia. Having graduated from respectable music schools (Luka studied at the Royal Academy of Music in London, and Stjepan at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester), they combined their talents and became globally famous, literally overnight, after having recorded their first duet. Their first recording was a cello arrangement of the famous Michael Jackson hit “Smooth Criminal” which the guys posted on YouTube and delighted not only numerous fans but also some great music stars. New arrangements followed as well as their first CD with unique covers of hard rock hits such as “Welcome to the Jungle” by Guns'N'Roses, Nirvana's “Smells Like Teen Spirit”, “With Or Without You” by U2, the legendary hit score from Tarantino's “Pulp Fiction” and some other world famous hits. The album received only accolades and word about their original arrangements and performances soon reached no other than Elton John. Owing to him, the two musicians were signed up by his management (Rocket Music Entertainment). They signed a contract to become the rock singer's official opening act during his current world tour. The cooperation will continue next year, to their mutual delight.

Therefore, before they start touring again, benefit from this unique opportunity to hear how they sound on their home turf.
