A full Star Alliance member

As of January 1st 2010, the Croatian national air carrier, Croatia Airlines, is a full member of the world’s largest airline association, Star Alliance. Members of this prestigious airline association connect more than a thousand destinations in 171 countries.

On January 1st, the Croatian national air carrier, Croatia Airlines, became a full f member of the world’s largest airline association, Star Alliance. Membership in the association guarantees Croatia Airlines new possibilities in further development and furthers the use of mutual, global transportation. Official membership strengthens ties and cooperation with all members of the association, as well as enabling direct participation in business decisions. Croatia Airlines has been cooperating with Star Alliance since 2004, when it became its regional member, but becoming a full member represents another step forward in future cooperation between members of this prestigious group, the world’s largest airline association. Apart from Croatia Airlines, another two airlines, Adria Airways and Blue 1, were also accepted as full members of Star Alliance, which now has a total of 26 official members.

Airlines within the Star Alliance association offer their customers over 19,500 daily flights that connect 1071 destinations in 171 countries.
