A lofty meal

If you’d like to have a meal up in the sky and sit at a table while dangling your legs in the breeze, make sure to reserve a seat for Dinner in the Sky, taking place in Zagreb between June 11th and 15th.

If you want to turn what would be a rather regular meal into a unique experience of sitting at a table with 22 other people, suspended from the height of 50 meters above the ground, make sure to reserve your seat for Dinner in the Sky. This unique event has been organized by the Westin Hotel and will take place between June11th and 15th. It provides the perfect opportunity to treat friends, business partners or loved ones to dinner while their legs sway in the breeze.

Guests at this special gastronomic event will be served upon by Tomislav Hruban, the executive chef at the Westin Zagreb Hotel, and one of the greatest culinary masters in Croatia and the region. Cocktails will be served by cocktail-master and top-class barman Tomislav Surla, whose skills are highly appreciated by numerous hotel guests and gladly shared with other hotel employees at training sessions where he imparts secrets of the cocktail making trade. Apart from the guests at the table, who are elevated at the height of 50 meters above the ground by a team of experts, the dinner also involves three staff members – a chef, waiter and entertainer. Guests can choose from five different dinner packages, depending on the menu and duration of the dinner. Reservations can be made online at www.dinnerinthesky.com.hr, but guests are expected to arrive thirty minutes ahead of their reservation time, otherwise their dinner will be cancelled. They should also make sure to dress appropriately since at 50 meters above the ground the wind can be stronger than down on the ground. The guests’ safety, however, is never compromised.

This original event, popular around the world, was developed by Events in the Sky, and now the citizens of Zagreb can also finally enjoy it. Therefore, make sure to reserve your seat on time, because this exclusive event is always in high demand.
