A night tour on two wheels

Tourists will soon be able to take guided night tours on a Segway to visit the significant sights of the city, as well as the streets where the night life and old spirit of Zagreb can be felt all year round.

Zagreb's guests, as well as its citizens, will soon have the option to take night tours of the city on Segways. This guided tour enables visitors to feel the atmosphere on the city’s streets at night whilst riding the popular Segway, a personal transporter for which they will receive simple operating instructions before the start of the tour.  Since the Segway was introduced into the tourist offer early last year, many tourists have already opted for this way of roaming Zagreb's streets and exploring the city and its most significant historic sights. Guided Segway city tours are organized every day and tourists can choose from several different routes. The Zagreb All Around Tour includes visits to all the significant historic sites in the Lower and Upper Towns, while the Zagreb Leisure Tour offers an expanded route, with the possibility of visiting the monumental Mirogoj Cemetery, Jarun Lake, the Zagreb Cathedral, a winery, etc. The Zagreb NightFlight Tour has recently been added to this offer. The first tour is supposed to kick off on July 1st and the program is expected to last until the end of September. In this way, tourists will have the opportunity to get a fresh look at Zagreb at night. It is also a good way to reach all the various events that are happening around town, where the old spirit of Zagreb can be felt on the streets and a lively atmosphere is evident all year round.
