A shopping guide
Where in Zagreb can you purchase hand-made items produced in limited numbers? The answer to this question and lots of other useful information can be found in the new “Insight Design Guide”.
The new “Insight Design Guide” provides tips on the best places to shop in Zagreb. It has been published recently in English and can be found in the hotels and all tourist information centres in the city. Apart from information about the most interesting landmarks in Zagreb, such as the Flower Square – a popular “see and be seen” spot for the citizens of Zagreb, Tkalčićeva Street or the famous Dolac Market, the guide also offers useful hints for shopping in the Croatian capital. The guide contains a list of addresses for bespoke clothes, jewellery, traditional souvenirs and delicacies, none of which have been mass produced but rather hand-made with great care and by drawing inspiration from traditional local elements. The guide is of great help while shopping in Zagreb because it also features a map with precisely marked locations of each store.
The guide also offers plenty of reasons why one should discover what makes the picturesque town of Samobor a favourite day-trip destination for the citizens of Zagreb, get to know its landmarks and taste the famous kremšnita (mille feuille) cake, or choose a gift for friends and loved ones among the numerous hand-made souvenirs on offer.
The “Insight Design Guide” is published by Tres Media d.o.o., and one issue comes out every three months.
