A Taste of the Mediterranean at Zagreb Fair – Zagreb Olive Festival

The largest event in Croatia and Zagreb dedicated to olives invites you to try the best oils and olive products.

Organised by the Zagreb Olive Institute and the Zagreb Fair, on 23 to 25 February the third Zagreb Olive Festival takes place at the Zagreb Fair.

This specialised event is becoming the most important exhibition dedicated to olives in Croatia and in Zagreb. At the second Festival held last year there were some 50 exhibitors from all over Croatia, both olive growers and other types of exhibitors, and the fair was visited by several thousand people. This year even greater numbers are expected, especially bearing in mind that at the same time the related Nautika and Hotel&Gastroteh festivals will be held.

The significance of the fair was recognised from its beginnings by the Zagreb City and Zagreb County authorities and the Ministry of Agriculture. This year’s event is longer and the partnership with Zagreb Fair guarantees even better promotion and organisation. The expected opening is Friday 23 February at 2 pm, and the packed programme runs until Sunday 25 February when the Festival closes at 7 pm. The Festival will be held in the Congress Centre at the Zagreb Fair.

This year too the Festival brings visitors and exhibitors presentations and promotions of high quality olive oils and olive products, as well as a series of educational lectures and presentations. Just like last year, there is a commercial exhibition of oils and other olive products and a promotion of agricultural equipment.
