An international festival of organic wines

This year’s international festival of organic wines, taking place at the Westin Hotel on December 13th, will feature more than 70 top wine-makers from Europe, while visitors will have the opportunity to taste more than 200 exquisite wines.

On December 13th, the Westin Hotel will be the venue for an international festival of organic wines, Label Grande Karakterre. Although this will be only the third edition of the event, Label Grande Karakterre has already asserted itself as the biggest bonanza of organic wines in Central and South-Eastern Europe. This year’s festival will feature more than 70 wine-makers from seven countries who will present more than 200 wines. Visitors will have the opportunity to taste some of them between noon and 7 p.m. The festival focuses on family wineries that predominantly produce organic wine. While paying due respect to preserving indigenous sorts of grapes, they produce their wines from their own vineyards and in their own wine cellars, with a minimum of chemical additives. Each of the wines is produced with heart, and each one has its own story and they are not for mass consumption but for aficionados who know how to enjoy them and recognize the value of exquisite wine. Since the Label Grande Karakterre festival will once again bring together the best wine-makers from the region, we have no doubt it will also attract wine aficionados from all over Croatia as well as abroad to Zagreb.

The price of a festival ticket is 110 kuna, and more info can be found online at www.labelgrand.com.
