B&B Studio Kairos – winner of the Travellers' Choice Award 2014

Members of the largest travel website in the world, TripAdvisor, have selected Zagreb’s first bed and breakfast, Studio Kairos, as the winner of the 2014 Travellers' Choice Award. The competition included the 25 best accommodation providers in Croatia.

Zagreb’s first bed and breakfast, Studio Kairos, won the 2014 Travellers’ Choice Award, based on votes by members of the world’s largest travel website – TripAdvisor. This website features more than 125 million opinions and ratings by guests, as well as three million listed accommodation facilities, restaurants, museums and other tourist attractions.

B&B Studio Kairos, the only of its kind in Zagreb, won the award against the competition of the 25 best accommodation providers in Croatia, which included private villas and apartments. The innovative B&B was opened two years ago in a family apartment situated in a 150 year old building on Vlaška Street, while a franchise on Palmotićeva Street opened for business in September 2013. The B&B features an original interior design, top-class service and a relaxed, friendly atmosphere, which is highly valued by the guests. In its latest edition, the popular guide – Lonely Planet, selected Kairos as one of their recommended hotels in Zagreb. It was also featured in renowned publications such as the Times, Guardian, Independent and the Washington Post. Last year, the B&B’s portal, www.studio-kairos.com, also won the first VIDI Web Top 100 award for the best Croatian website in the tourism category.
