Burlesque, the Zagreb way

After accumulating a lot of praise last year, the Croatian cabaret with an international crew, called the Red Room, will once again heat up Zagreb nightlife. Proclaimed by the media as one of the greatest surprises of theatre art and the performance scene, the Red Room will be performing between the 6th and the 8th of May at Jedinstvo Factory.

Between the 6th and the 8th of May, Zagreb’s Jedinstvo Factory will once again be transformed into Zagreb’s decadent night-stage. This will be the venue for the Red Room cabaret: an unforgettable, mesmerizing, grotesque, exciting and most entertaining domestic project with an international crew, which was a big hit with the audiences during last year’s Festival of New Circus.

This year, the entertainment program will take place over three days in a row; in other words, three nights filled with decadent fun during a real cabaret weekend. Last year’s performance was thoroughly enjoyed by all who had an opportunity to see it, from the regular audience to members of the press and European institutions that wish to host this cultural attraction from Zagreb. This year, the audience will once again enjoy an unforgettable show the Zagreb way, with an array of new surprises in store and new acts by world-class circus and new burlesque performers.

The Red Room features Big Ass Barbeque, Betty Brawn, Le Gateu Chocolat, Robert Choinka, Chodi Harrell, Marawa, Marijana Perinić and Empress Stah: nine top-class performers who will offer an unforgettable two-hour show on two stages. In the manner of burlesque and cabaret, the organizers advise: come well prepared, wear something extravagant if you feel like it, and join the most twisted night in Zagreb.
