Chris Rea to Perform in Zagreb

The legendary singer, composer and guitarist Chris Rea is coming to Zagreb on 8 March to hold a concert at the Dom Sportova sports arena.

The legendary singer of Irish-Italian-ex-Yugoslav origin, Chris Rea was born as Christopher Anton Rea on 4 March 1951 in the English town of Middleborough. He is a British singer, guitarist, song-writer, composer and producer. 

During his successful 30-year solo career, he has published 22 studio albums which have sold over 30 million copies to date and has been nominated for a Grammy award.

His virtuoso guitar playing style has won him the reputation of one of the best players of the Fender Stratocaster guitar, and one of the best guitarists in the world generally. His specific, rugged and very deep voice and excellent songs have made him famous among audiences and put him at the very top of popular music. His unique blues style has made him recognizable and brought him many successes throughout his career. What is most appreciated in him by critics and media is his own signature style. 

The reason for his musical longevity lies in the fact that Chris Rea is an excellent singer, composer and guitarist. All this and brilliant songs have led him to the very top.

Besides the great number of albums that he has recorded, he has also had many hit songs in his career, most of the time based on extremely high quality combinations of melodies and peculiar arrangements. The unforgettable ‘On The Beach’, 'Road To Hell', 'Blue Caffe' and 'Josephine' are only a few of his hit numbers expected to be heard in Zagreb on March 8.
Tickets for the concert are on sale in the new ticket shop, Kartomlat, in Importane Center, where they cost 230 Kuna or 250 Kuna at the other points of sale.
