Cook at Kuhaona!

If you like to cook, or you would like to become more familiar with the regional diversity of Croatian cuisine, make sure to visit Kuhaona, where top class lecturers will hold specialized culinary workshops, sharing their expansive culinary knowledge and demonstrating various cooking techniques.

If you want to become more familiar with the flavours of Croatian cuisine or learn new techniques in cooking, decorating or photographing food, make sure to visit Kuhaona, where top class lecturers will hold specialized workshops aimed at Croats and foreigners alike, demonstrating various culinary skills and imparting their knowledge of the diverse Croatian regional cuisines. Workshops can be attended by individuals or pairs who want to spend their time creatively, interacting with the lecturers, sharing experiences with other attendees and, of course, tasting the prepared meals.

There are two workshops on offer to foreigners. The first is an autochthonous workshop which lasts three hours and consists of the preparation of three traditional Croatian dishes, while the other is a cooking-show workshop, which lasts an hour and a half. Typical dishes of the Croatian cuisine are prepared in advance, while participants are involved in the presentation of cooking.

For Croatian participants, Kuhaona has special workshops for various narrowly specialized aspects of cookery, such as filo-pastry making or cake decorating, etc. Family culinary sessions are an entertaining way to spend quality time with loved ones, while the Food Snapping food photography workshop will provide training on how to properly light and photograph food.
These workshops also provide teambuilding opportunities for companies and they serve for various other events as well as video and photo-shoots. If you wish to give someone an original gift, or surprise them with an excellent gastronomic experience, you can also purchase a workshop gift-certificate.

Kuhaona was opened in September at Opatovina 13, next to the Dolac green-market, a hand’s reach away from the freshest produce where the tourist boardwalk meets culinary tradition.

More info about the culinary workshops can be found online at www.kuhaona.com and facebook.com/Kuhaona. Any questions can be submitted to info@kuhaona.com or you can call +385 1 4104 – 841.
