Dražen Petrović Basketball Centre

On January 21st, world-class dancers and ice-skaters from the renowned St. Petersburg State Ballet on Ice will perform “Swan Lake” in a unique musical spectacle at the Dražen Petrović Basketball Centre.

On January 21st, the Dražen Petrović Basketball Centre will be the venue for the St. Petersburg State Ballet on Ice, which will perform the famous ballet by P. I. Tchaikovsky, “Swan Lake”. This unique musical spectacle will feature over eighty dancers and ice-skaters of the renowned, Russian State Ballet on Ice, and it is sure to attract numerous aficionados of classical ballet.

St. Petersburg State Ballet on Ice has been active since 1967, garnering the admiration of worldwide audiences with a unique program that combines figure skating with classical Russian ballet. Each performance by the renowned Russian ballet is complemented by sumptuous costumes and the St. Petersburg State Ballet on Ice has become famous for its costume collection, which is used in the performances of its various shows.

The choreography for this ice show was devised by Konstantin Rasadin, who once danced with the world’s best ballet dancers, Rudolf Nureyev and Mikhail Baryshnikov. Among the dancers who will perform “Swan Lake” is former European champion, Olga Ivanova, and an Olympic medal winner, Andrei Strogan.
