Everlast coming to Zagreb
On May 12th, Zagreb’s Tvornica Kulture club will be the venue for a concert by Everlast, the legendary frontman of the former Irish/American hip-hop band House of Pain. This much anticipated gig comes two years after he was supposed to perform at the cancelled Rokaj Fest.
Long ago Zagreb’s Culture Factory gained the status of a venue for interesting shows. One of them will be the concert by Everlast on May 12th. The legendary frontman of the former Irish-American hip-hop band House of Pain will perform in Zagreb for the first time as part of his European tour, even though he was already supposed to hold a concert at the cancelled Rokaj Fest two years ago.
Born in 1969 in New York as Erik Francis Schrody to a family of Irish descent, the musician gained world fame with his huge hit “What It's Like”, which remains a popular radio tune across the globe. Thus far he has released seven studio albums and has been nominated for a Grammy Award three times. He has also worked with other major music stars, such as Madonna, Carlos Santana, Cypress Hill, Snoop Dogg, etc.
His act is a type of protest and his music is an intelligent criticism of the injustice and problems of individuals, minorities and nations.
Ticket prices for the Everlast concert are 130 kuna, while they will cost 150 kuna on the day of the concert, and they can be purchased at all Eventim box offices.
