Franz Ferdinand and Sparks together for the first time

The Scottish band Franz Ferdinand and the American group Sparks have selected the jubilee 10th edition of the INmusic Festival for the debut performance of their joint band, FFS, a starting-point for their European tour in which they will be promoting their joint work.

Apart from a long list of globally renowned musicians, the jubilee 10th edition of the INmusic Festival will be marked by the debut performance by the bands Franz Ferdinand and Sparks, who will appear together as a new joint venture, FFS. The selection of the INmusic Festival for their global debut is not random, and it is the starting point of their European tour in which they will promote their joint work.

The famous Franz Ferdinand four are great friends of the INmusic Festival, in which they will perform for the fourth time. Their last performance at the festival took place in 2012, when they promoted new songs from their then upcoming album Right Thoughts, Right Words, Right Action. Each performance by Franz Ferdinand is a surprise for the fans, so this year they will appear on stage along with the excellent American band, Sparks. Over the years, Sparks have established themselves as pioneers of an array of music genres, including glam-rock, art-rock, and synth-pop, and they have served as an inspiration to numerous bands and musicians, such as Kurt Cobain, The Ramones, Faith No More, Sonic Youth and Franz Ferdinand itself. This will be the Sparks’ first performance at the INmusic Festival, which will take place on three islands at Jarun Lake between June 22nd and 24th.

Until April 17th, tickets for the INmusic Festival can be purchased at a price of 299 kuna via the INmusic web shop, at the Dirty Old Shop in Zagreb, as well as all OTP Bank offices across Croatia.
