Great Musical Names Make Their Mark

Once again, this October, jazz aficionados will be able to enjoy the enticing sounds produced by domestic and international jazz musicians. Two popular jazz events, featuring numerous artists from Croatia and abroad, will offer rich programs.

In Zagreb, Octobers are traditionally reserved for jazz lovers. In the evening hours from the end of September until October 10th, they will be able to enjoy the Croatian Jazz Fair, a popular event staged at the BP Club. In addition, between October 23rd and 26th, the 17th International Jazz Days will be held at the Vatroslav Lisinski Concert Hall.

The traditional Jazz Fair will gather numerous musicians at the BP Club. Throughout the eleven evenings, some of the world's most significant contemporary jazz bands of various generations and styles will perform. According to the announced program, the Jazz Fair will feature performances by the Boško Petrović Trio, Jazz Is Back 2007, Jasna Bilušić & Cool Date, the Mirokado Quartet, the Ante Gelo Trio & Ivana Starčević, Damir Kukuruzović & Hot Jazz 4, the Elvis Stanić Group, the Matija Dedić Trio, the Denis Razumović Razz Quartet, Black Coffee & Klapa Mendula, and Dudo Vorih New Tribe. 

The 17th International Jazz Days will feature performances by numerous eminent jazz bands from abroad, such as James Morrison, Geoffe Eales, Francesco Cafiso, Dave Stapleton and others. Also, the renowned Croatian musician, Drago Diklić, will once again delight the audience with his stage appearance.
