Iron Maiden is coming

After performing at Split’s Poljud stadium in 2008, the legendary heavy metal band Iron Maiden is coming to Zagreb this summer. They will perform at Arena Zagreb on 31 July as part of their 'Maiden England World Tour', the European half of their world tour which began in America last year.

Croatian heavy metal fans were overjoyed when they heard that the legendary band Iron Maiden would visit Zagreb on 31 July. They will hold a concert at Arena Zagreb as part of their 'Maiden England World Tour', which they started in America last year. The legendary band already visited Croatia in 2008 when they held a concert at the Poljud stadium, which was filled to capacity.

The concert announced for Zagreb will be part of the second leg of their world tour which began last year in North America. This year it is continuing in Europe, as part of the same production. The tour is a musical journey and homage of sorts to the band’s legendary 1988 tour Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son, which means that all of the concerts from this latest tour, including the one in Zagreb, will be quite similar to the 1988 concerts. In fact, the 1988 revisited will be even better due to advances in the light show technology and a more modern set with elaborate pyrotechnical effects. According to band members, the audiences will also have an opportunity to see numerous incarnations of the band’s famous mascot - Eddie.

Fans will also enjoy the playlist, which includes songs that the ever popular Maiden has not played live in a long time. Among them are hits such as Seventh Son, The Prisoner, Afraid To Shoot Strangers, The Trooper, Aces High, The Number Of The Beast, Wasted Years and one of their best known songs - Run To The Hills.

There is almost nothing new to add to the famous Iron Maiden story. In the 32 years that they have been performing together, the band has gained numerous fans so their music is nowadays equally enjoyed by many generations. Spectators of different ages are also expected to attend the Zagreb concert, as well as all other concerts that are part of this tour. Tickets for the concert are available for purchase since mid-February at all Eventim box offices or online at www.eventim.hr.

If you wish to attend this great heavy metal show, hurry up and make sure to get your tickets, priced between 250 and 350 kuna!
