Mando Diao & Caro Emerald – Rock at the Zagreb Fair, Pop and Jazz in the Dražen Petrović Basketball Hall

To the delight of their fans, Mando Diao and Caro Emerald in Zagreb.

Mando Diao, the famous Swedish band, will be performing at the Zagreb Fair on 7 February thanks to the same people who bring us the INmusic festival. Following their Croatian premiere at the INmusic festival itself in 2012, Mando Diao will be treating their Croatian fans to a long-awaited first standalone concert.

Mando Diao was formed by Björn Dixgärd and Daniel Häglundin 1999 after several years of playing together in the band Butler. Mando Diao in a relatively short period of time, after a series of excellent albums and singles became one of the most successful Swedish exports of music. Following a compilation of greatest hits, in 2012 the band recorded its first album with the lyrics in the group’s native Swedish, and in 2014 they experimented with electro rock in their seventh studio album “Alita”.

In May this year Mando Diao released their eighth studio album “Good Times” and opened a new chapter in the band’s history. They return to Croatia as a part of their current European tour with a concert in Pavilion 9 of the Zagreb Fair.

Dutch pop/jazz singer Caro Emerald is also coming to Zagreb. She will be performing as a part of her current “Emerald Isle” tour in the Dražen Petrović Basketball Hall on 24 February 2018. This lady combines in her music ballroom jazz with an infectious mambo groove and has become known for her outstanding live performances. Caro Emerald brings us summertime, dance and fairytales from the most beautiful Hollywood era.

In March this year Caro Emerald released the “Emerald Island” EP with six songs inspired by exotica, a genre from the 1950s and 60s full of exotic sounds and instruments. It was released during the Emerald Island Tour, the biggest tour to date in Caro Emerald’s career and which brings the singer to Zagreb. Caro Emerald will bring summer and jazzy groove to the Dražen Petrović Basketball Hall on 24 February to the delight of all.
