On November 3rd, the Vatroslav Lisinski Concert Hall will be the venue for a performance by the world-famous jazz diva Natalie Cole. It will be her first performance in Zagreb, and the concert is part of her European tour promoting her latest album, “Natalie Cole en Espanol”.

As the daughter of the legendary Nat King Cole, Natalie Cole has lived with music from early childhood, and she started setting the ground for her very successful career with her 1975 debut album, “Inseparable”, which won her two Grammy awards - for the best newcomer and the best female R&B performance.

Throughout her music career she has changed genres several times, but in the 1990s she followed in her father’s footsteps and focused on traditional pop, to which she remained faithful until 2010. She returned to the global music scene with her 1991 album, “Unforgettable …With Love”, on which she recorded a duet with her father, using his 1961 recordings. That album won her six Grammy awards, and sold more than 14 million copies worldwide.

Natalie Cole is an exquisite artist with amazing vocal ability who boasts a total of nine Grammy awards out of her twenty nominations. Since 1977, she has had a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
