Parov Stelar at Boćarski Dom

Fans of electronic music, reserve your tickets on time, because the talented Austrian DJ musician, Parov Stelar, is visiting Zagreb for the first time, where he will perform with the rest of his band on December 19th at Boćarski Dom.

On December 19th, Boćarski Dom will be the venue for a performance by Parov Stelar. This will be the first time for Zagreb to host the successful Austrian DJ, known across the globe for his music style called electroswing – a mixture of jazz-swing samples and electronic music.

His music relies on the past; it is very elegant, humorous and energetic, and it was inspired by various styles, ranging from soul, pop and jazz, to swing combined with modern rhythms. Parov Stelar and the band he will perform with have already played more than a hundred live shows together, but each performance is unique and different in some way. Therefore, all of the concerts sell out very quickly. He is the most successful contemporary Austrian performer, having won three Amadeus Austrian Music Awards in 2013, including Best Live Act, Best Electronic Act and Best Album, as well as another one in 2014 – Best Live Act. He has thus far released six albums and more than twenty EP’s, and he has collaborated with numerous globally renowned musicians, such as Marvin Gaye, Lana Del Rey, Brian Ferry etc.

This talented musician performed for the first time in Croatia two years ago, at the Terraneo Festival in Šibenik.

Tickets for the performance by the Parov Stelar Band cost 199 kuna and they can be purchased via Eventim, at Tisak kiosks, as well as at the Tisak Media Centres. On the day of the concert, ticket prices will be 229 kuna.
