Pink Day at the Mimara Museum

Wine and beautiful women will be the trademarks of the 2nd Pink Day, an interesting international event organized by the members of the Women on Wine (WOW) Association on March 8th at the Mimara Museum. They are inviting all the connoisseurs of good wine to join them on their “pink day”.

We are inviting all the members of the fairer sex to attend the Pink Day, the 2nd Festival of Rosés at the Mimara Museum. The festival is primarily intended for ladies; it will take place on March 8th, the International Women’s Day, and it is organized by the members of the Woman on Wine (WOW) Association. Needless to say, men are also welcome.

The women’s day, wine and women’s health are some of the themes of this festival at which women will certainly have a lot to say because they have been a strong presence on the wine scene, they are active in the production and promotion of wine and they are very familiar with the offer of rosés, wines which are gaining popularity in Croatia and in the world. This year, the festival will gather some 60 winemakers from several countries; many workshops, presentations and round tables will be organized and there will also be a charity side to it.

Visitors can look forward to a string of interesting surprises. Therefore, take your partners to the Pink Day and enjoy this interesting international event on the Women’s Day, because neither the festival nor the day is reserved for women only. All the wine aficionados will be able to find something for themselves and good time will certainly be had by everybody, not only at the Mimara Museum but also in other locations around the city.

As an interesting detail, and also the counterpoint to this “female” event, we remind you that on the same day, March 8th, Zagreb will host a most spectacular “male” event. Arena Zagreb will be the venue for the promotion of the world’s number 1 kickboxing league Glory World Series, led by two legends of this attractive sport: Mirko “Cro Cop” Filipović and Remy Bonjasky. As the organizer of such and similar mega spectacles, in this case a “female” and a “male” one, Zagreb is certainly growing in popularity which is reflected in an exceptionally high growth rate in the number of tourist arrivals at the beginning of 2014.
