Rammstein once again in Zagreb

With their latest European tour “Made in Germany 1995 – 2011”, the popular German band Rammstein will be presenting a compilation of their greatest hits composed throughout their 16-year career. As part of their aforementioned tour, Rammstein will hold a concert at the Zagreb Arena on November 8th.

A year and a half since their last concert in Croatia, the provocative German metal sensation Rammstein is once again coming to Zagreb. They will hold a concert in the same venue as last time, the Zagreb Arena, on November 8th and this is an opportunity not to be missed, especially as the concert will focus on their latest album, which contains a retrospective of their greatest hits.

Rammstein is renowned as one of the rare bands that still feature the same original line-up, since its foundation… 16 years ago. It is therefore not surprising that they decided to take a break from hit-making this year. Instead, they released a rarely seen retrospective of twenty greatest hits that, with the exception of one new surprise, they included on the album called “Made in Germany 1995-2011”. This same title was given to the band’s latest tour this autumn, with which they will be entertaining Europe and Zagreb, which has become an unavoidable stop on their tour schedule. And that can only mean one thing – the Zagreb audience truly can expect only the best from Rammstein.

The band – consisting of Till Lindemann (vocals), Richard Kruspe (guitar), Paul Landers (rhythm guitar), Oliver Riedel (bass), Christoph Schneider (drums), Christian Lorenz (keyboards) – has experienced a controversial career marked by provocative videos and spectacular concerts, which often put them in trouble, and once even behind bars. Their provocativeness, however, is one of the main reasons why their concerts are always so well attended; the audiences are awarded with hits, but also with excellent stage shows. Last year they almost literally set the Zagreb Arena on fire, while this year the audience will have to patiently wait for new surprises.

As it has been announced, the production of this year’s concert will be significantly different to last year’s, but only those who purchase a ticket in time will know what the spectacle will really entail. Tickets have been on sale since late June at prices ranging between 290 and 600 Kuna, and they can be purchased at all Eventim box-offices, online at muzika.hr and in Zagreb’s Rockmark bookshop. Let it also be mentioned that Rammstein recently won the Revolver Golden Gods award for best live performers during their recent tour of North America.
