Seven fairs in one

Between the 22nd and the 26th of September, as part of the 86th Zagreb International Autumn Fair, the oldest and best-known fair in the city, there will be as many as seven thematically different exhibitions: energy fair, construction fair, consumer goods fair, Days of Fashion, the fair of music and multimedia, collective exhibitions of foreign countries, and for the first time, the Fair of alternative lifestyle, healthy living and borderline areas of science.

Between the 22^nd and the 26^th of September, the Zagreb International Autumn Fair will, traditionally, bring together numerous businessmen, exhibitors, specialists, scientists, and visitors, as well as media representatives from all over the world.
The Zagreb International Autumn Fair is the oldest and best-known brand of the Zagreb Fair, which offers visitors an array of specialized fairs intended for the general market and designed to meet the popular demand. This year, there will be seven such fairs taking place: the energy fair, construction fair, consumer goods fair, Days of Fashion, the fair of music and multimedia, collective exhibitions of foreign countries and, for the first time, “Mystic” - the Fair of alternative lifestyle, healthy living and borderline areas of science. In addition and according to the fair’s tradition, there will be a collective presentation of foreign countries, and the whole project is being backed by the partner country, which for this year, is China.
The ConTech construction fair will once again attract the leading domestic and foreign producers of construction material, equipment, and machinery, while an array of concurrent events will demonstrate the newest trends in construction to the visitors. Apart from exhibiting products and services, as part of the energy fair there will be numerous gatherings and discussions about the current themes of the energy sector tied to Croatia’s joining the EU and liberalization of the southeast European energy market.
Visitors will also have an opportunity to take a break from “difficult” themes during the Days of Fashion in which colourful trends and collections for 2011 will be presented, as well as the Fair of Music and Multimedia, which also features an attractive Dance Fair as of last year. Along with the presentation of products, services and trends from the field of multimedia and music, this specialized fair will be complemented by a concurrent entertaining and educational content ranging from DJ show programmes and dance group performances, to workshops, dance competitions, and performances by domestic as well as foreign musicians.
This year’s novelty is the specialized fair of alternative lifestyle, healthy living, and borderline areas of science – “Mystic” - under the slogan, “Living without prejudice”, this fair will offer visitors an insight into several fields: alternative medicine, healthy food, macrobiotics and alternative food growing , medicinal herbs, esotericism, as well as para-psychological phenomena.
