Between the 24th and the 26th of November, the Regent Esplanade Hotel will be host to the 6th International Festival of Wine and Culinary Art. The event is entirely dedicated to cuisine: as an unavoidable aspect of economy, and one of the leading offers of Croatian tourism. Aside from numerous culinary experts, the festival always attracts many fine wine aficionados.

This year’s festival will feature a record number of winemakers, over 230, from France, Italy, Spain, Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro, Macedonia and, of course, Croatia. Aside from winemakers, the festival will also present the top producers of olive oil, truffles, cheese, prosciutto and honey.

In addition, the festival will also feature numerous concurrent events such as workshops and lectures on oenology and gastronomy held by representatives of top class wineries from Croatia and abroad. There will also be a roundtable on the role of wine in the development of a tourism brand. Furthermore, known French wineries, including Château Clinet and Château La Dominique, will be presenting their best wines for the first time in Croatia.

A humanitarian action will take place on the eve of the official commencement of the 6th International Festival of Wine and Culinary Art. The proceeds will be donated to the House of St. Joseph in Hrvatski Leskovac, which offers a family home to children and youths who cannot grow up in their own families for a variety of reasons.
