The Sweetest Festival on Zrinjevac – Slatki gušti

For the sixth year running, from 22 June to 2 July, the Zrinjevac park becomes home to «the sweetest festival» in Zagreb.

This year's festival, apart from the usual offerings from Zagreb's best-known cake shops, brings us a great many surprises.

While the festival is running, for the first time in Croatia a food blogging conference will be held, named “Food Blogging Conference Zagreb – Make Life Delicious”, which will be attended by famous food bloggers from Croatia and abroad. The food bloggers will also hold educational workshops and competitions on Zrinjevac so that visitors can learn more about the preparation of desserts. The programme will also feature a «sweet picnic», the first gastronomic picnic to be held on Zrinjevac. Selected visitors will be able to enjoy delicacies prepared especially for them at the picnic. A special guest on the occasion of the festival's sixth birthday will be a renowned chef from a Michelin-starred restaurant who will demonstrate his or her skills on Zrinjevac throughout the festival.

As well as all this, there will also be interactive competitions, educational workshops and music evenings. A perfect overture to the warm summer to follow.
