The Zagreb Wine Edition of IWINETC

Over 300 leading experts in wine tourism, viticulture and gastronomy will gather at Zagreb's Esplanade Hotel on 15 and 16 March to participate in the international conference of wine tourism, IWINETC.

The city of Zagreb will host the International Wine Tourism Conference & Exhibition and gather some 300 leading experts in wine, wine tourism and gastronomy from as many as 30 countries worldwide in the Esplanade Hotel on 15 and 16 March.

Over the two-day stay in Zagreb, the participants will have plenty of opportunities to exchange their experiences and products, to take part in a number of professional presentations and lectures, to socialize over a glass of wine or two in the oldest of Zagreb's hotels, and last but certainly not least, treat their palates to the choicest wine samples.

The conference, i.e. this year's meeting of the leading wine and tourist experts in the world, is aimed at presenting the most recent developments in both of these industries and establishing a quality link between them with a view to creating excellent tourist products. This is why all the announced topics are related to the creation of top of the range wine regions, including branding the existing ones, creating wow effects for every product, giving a higher profile to wine itineraries in the overall tourist supply of a country or region, highlighting the effect of wine tourism in the process of creating wine, gastronomic and travel guides, and keeping up with the trends of the ever growing demand for this type of supply.

Since Zagreb is the host of this international conference, international experts will be able to get even better acquainted with the Croatian wine and tourist supply through the presentation of the Croatian wine story.

The conference organizer is the IWINETC (International Wine Tourism Conference & Exhibition) Association. For more information about the conference please visit www.iwinetc.com.
