The Zagreb Wine Gourmet Festival 2010
Some 140 winemakers from Croatia, as well as abroad, will participate in the Zagreb Wine Gourmet Festival 2010, which will take place on the 12th and 13th of February at the Museum of Arts and Crafts. Once again, it is sure to attract the attention of numerous wine connoisseurs.
The third Zagreb Wine Gourmet Festival 2010, will take place on the 12th and 13th of February at the Museum of Arts and Crafts. This unique lifestyle exhibition will feature produce from 140 of the best Croatian and foreign producers of wine and various gastronomic delicacies. The event will also feature various workshops, tastings, and culinary presentations by chefs from globally renowned restaurants. Apart from bringing together numerous wine connoisseurs, the Zagreb Wine Gourmet Festival is also a meeting point for many hoteliers, restaurateurs, and journalists.
During the second edition of the festival, visitors had an opportunity to taste 568 exquisite wines of 110 winemakers from all over the world. Besides that, eight large distributors presented wines from 33 French wineries, as well as from vineyards in Australia, California, Chile, South Africa, etc. This year’s festival will feature an even greater number of exhibitors and it can be expected that this year’s edition will also attract the attention of the general public and numerous fine wine connoisseurs.
The Zagreb Wine Gourmet Festival is being organized by the Laniva Company, whose foodie brand “1001 Delicacies” is sponsored by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, and Rural Development, as well as the Zagreb Tourist Board.
