Zagreb in the running for the Best European Destination 2014

Zagreb will be nominated as one of the twenty candidates for the Best European Destination 2014 by the namesake website. The online voting will take place between January 22nd and February 12th.

The European Best Destinations website will nominate Zagreb as one of the twenty candidates in the running for the title of the Best European Destination in 2014. The voting for this prestigious label, synonymous with European excellence, will take place online between January 22nd and February 12th at www.europeanbestdestinations.org-www.ebd2014.com.

Ten of the twenty nominated candidates have been selected based on Eurostat statistics, whereas the other ten have been selected by the organizer’s panel of professionals.

European Best Destinations is a European non-profit making organization based in Brussels and developed to promote culture and tourism in Europe. In partnership with the participating tourism offices the organization promotes a better understanding of the wealth, diversity and quality of European destinations and Europe as the number one destination in the world.
