Wine and beautiful women will be the trademarks of the 2nd Pink Day, an interesting international event organized by the members of the Women on Wine (WOW) Association on March 8th at the Mimara Museum. They are inviting all the connoisseurs of good wine to join them on their “pink day”.
Lauba, The House for People and Art, has been nominated as the European museum of the year, and the winner will be announced in mid-May in Estonia’s capital – Tallinn. The competition includes museums that stand out in terms of innovation and public quality.
After their first performance in 2008, on June 15th the Culture Factory will once again be the venue for a concert by the energetic American gypsy-punk band, Gogol Bordello. There is no doubt that they will again bring the house down.
The Croatian fans of Perpetuum Jazzile are in for a treat: the globally renowned Slovenian music band will hold a concert at the Vatroslav Lisinski Concert Hall on March 17th.
Make a timely reservation at one of the 53 restaurants participating in the 8th Restaurant Week Zagreb, between March 7th and 16th.
As part of their tour, the German ambient/jazz band Bohren & der Club of Gore will perform at Pogon Jedinstvo on March 28th and present their eighth album “Piano Nights”.
At the recently finished online competition for the best European destination that was organized by the European Best Destinations organization, Zagreb took the second place!

Zagreb ist mir als wunderschöne Stadt in Erinnerung geblieben, und die Menschen, die ich kennengelernt habe, waren sehr nett und haben mich sehr warm empfangen. Das Publikum war ebenfalls wunderbar. Dieses Konzert ist für mich wie ein schönes Souvenir.

Zagreb ist wunderschön, aber am meisten haben mich die Menschen begeistert. Alle sind so freundlich und zugänglich. Einen besseren Gastgeber hätte ich mir nicht wünschen können.

Wir sind zum ersten Mal in Zagreb. Es gefällt uns hier sehr gut. Wir werden es zwar nicht schaffen, an die Küste zu fahren, aber wir werden uns erholen und ein wenig durch die Stadt spazierengehen...

Es tut mir leid, dass ich nicht länger bleiben und ein wenig mehr von der Stadt sehen konnte, aber Jarun mit dem See und den Nachtclubs hat mich begeistert. Es hat alles was man für eine gute Party braucht.

Ich erinnere mich an unseren Auftritt beim INmusic Festival. Wir können es kaum abwarten, unsere Fans wiederzusehen. Ich glaube, dass es sehr aufregend werden wird.

Ich habe mich ganz besonders auf Zagreb gefreut, vor allem, weil meine Mutter mit mir reiste. Meine Leute haben vorher alles genau erforscht, damit wir es schaffen, die wichtigsten Sachen in der Stadt zu sehen!
