Between the 19th and the 22nd of February, the Zagreb Fair will be the venue for the 7th International Tourism Fair, CroTour 2014, and three other, concurrent, specialized fairs dedicated to tourism.
Zagreb will be nominated as one of the twenty candidates for the Best European Destination 2014 by the namesake website. The online voting will take place between January 22nd and February 12th.
In early February, the 9th PBZ Zagreb Indoors will bring together numerous renowned tennis players, seven of whom are ranked among the top thirty in the world.
Zagreb’s popular Gradska kavana was reopened after almost a year of renovations, once again enabling the citizens of Zagreb and their guests to experience a nostalgic journey through Zagreb’s coffee drinking tradition.
On September 30th, Arena Zagreb will be the venue for a performance by the world famous Il Divo quartet. This will be their second concert at the Arena, and it will take place as part of the quartet’s new tour – “Il Divo – A Musical Affair: The Best Songs from Broadway Live”.
The Palace Hotel Zagreb is embarking on a project to refurbish the rest of its rooms and restaurants. During its 107 year long tradition it has become known as one of the most romantic hotels in the city and by next spring it will emerge in full splendour.
Many years of cooperation between HUP Zagreb and Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide have influenced the development of the hotel business in Zagreb, and its continuation is encouragement for further accomplishments.
Until February 2nd, the Archaeological Museum will be the venue of the multimedia exhibition “Jabuka – a club that has not rotted away in 45 years”. It is dedicated to Zagreb’s famous nightclub, which is an important part of the story of Zagreb.

Die umliegenden Berge auf der einen Seite der Stadt ausgenommen, ist Zagreb perfekt zum Radfahren. David Bryne (Talking Heads) anlässlich des Erscheinens seines Buches Bicycle Diaries.

Zagreb ist wunderschön, aber am meisten haben mich die Menschen begeistert. Alle sind so freundlich und zugänglich. Einen besseren Gastgeber hätte ich mir nicht wünschen können.

Es tut mir leid, dass ich nicht länger bleiben und ein wenig mehr von der Stadt sehen konnte, aber Jarun mit dem See und den Nachtclubs hat mich begeistert. Es hat alles was man für eine gute Party braucht.

Wir sind wegen unseres ersten Auftritts in Kroatien aufgeregt und überglücklich, weil wir Zeit hatten, ihre wunderschöne Stadt zu besichtigen.

Ich erinnere mich an unseren Auftritt beim INmusic Festival. Wir können es kaum abwarten, unsere Fans wiederzusehen. Ich glaube, dass es sehr aufregend werden wird.

Zagreb ist mir als wunderschöne Stadt in Erinnerung geblieben, und die Menschen, die ich kennengelernt habe, waren sehr nett und haben mich sehr warm empfangen. Das Publikum war ebenfalls wunderbar. Dieses Konzert ist für mich wie ein schönes Souvenir.

Ich habe mich ganz besonders auf Zagreb gefreut, vor allem, weil meine Mutter mit mir reiste. Meine Leute haben vorher alles genau erforscht, damit wir es schaffen, die wichtigsten Sachen in der Stadt zu sehen!
