Tourists are very pleased with all aspects of the offer in Zagreb, including accommodation facilities, gastronomy and cultural events, while more and more visitors are arriving for short city-breaks, looking for new experiences, entertainment and culture.
As part of the 11th Zagreb Film Festival, audiences will have the opportunity to view one hundred of the most interesting debut films from around the world. The films will be screened in ten programmes at various locations around town between October 20th and 27th.
Until October 27th, Zagreb’s Avenue Mall will feature the educational National Geographic Big Cats photo exhibition. Its intention is to raise awareness about the need to protect endangered species.
The world-famous jazz diva, Natalie Cole, will hold her first concert in Zagreb on November 3rd at the Vatroslav Lisinski Concert Hall. She will promote her latest album, “Natalie Cole en Espanol”, as part of her current European tour.
The Arcotel Allegra Zagreb Hotel, the first lifestyle hotel in Croatia, is celebrating its tenth anniversary by combining the corporate identity of Arcotel, Austrian hospitality and Croatian cordiality.
Although it was opened only in July this year, the Ferdinand Budicki Automobile Museum is already a huge hit among visitors from all over the world, and it now features its first theme exhibition dedicated to the 65th anniversary of the legendary 2CV.
The Hypo Centre is once again opening its doors to all those who care about their health and the health of their families. Between October 11th and 13th, it will be the venue for the 2nd Vitafest Health Fair for families.
Between November 7th and 9th, the Trešnjevka Culture Centre is organizing the 7th edition of the PSSST! Silent Film Festival. Croatian as well as foreign authors can submit films for the competitive programme of the festival until October 15th. Apart from professionals, films can also be submitted by amateur filmmakers.

Ich habe mich ganz besonders auf Zagreb gefreut, vor allem, weil meine Mutter mit mir reiste. Meine Leute haben vorher alles genau erforscht, damit wir es schaffen, die wichtigsten Sachen in der Stadt zu sehen!

Der Konzertsaal Lisinski hat mir sehr gut gefallen. Es war ein ganz besonderes Gefühl dort aufzutreten, weil die Menschen aufmerksam zugehört und die Musik mit ihren Herzen gefühlt haben. Lisinski ist ein wunderschöner Konzertsaal und ich fühle mich geehrt, dass ich dort auftreten darf. Mein erster Auftritt im Lisinski ist mir in sehr schöner Erinnerung geblieben.

Jesse Eisenberg war im Herbst 2007 längere Zeit in Zagreb: Zagreb ist eine unglaubliche Stadt. Ich habe es genossen, die alten Stadtteile zu besichtigen und abends ging ich in die Clubs. Es hat mich auch begeistert, dass Österreich und Italien so nahe sind, so dass ich an den Wochenenden nach Venedig, Mailand, Ljubljana, Graz, Split u.v.a. Städte fuhr.
