Jazz aficionados can expect four days of great music as impressive names from the global jazz scene will be performing at the 7th Vip Zagreb Jazz Festival, which will take place between the 10th and the 13th of November at the Student Centre.
British singer-songwriter, Chris Rea, will hold a concert at Boćarski dom on February 16th 2012. It is part of his latest European tour, with which he will be promoting his newest material: “The Santo Spirito Project”.
The Hotel and Tourism School will be hosting the unique event “Christmas in Europe”, which will present the Christmas traditions of twenty European countries. This event – organized by the European Association of Hotel and Tourism Schools – marks the Advent season and will take place between the 1st and the 7th of December.
The 6th International Festival of Wine and Culinary Art will take place between the 24th and the 26th of November at the Regent Esplanade Hotel. At this event, more than 230 exhibitors from Croatia, as well as abroad, will present quality wines, olive oil, truffles, cheese, prosciutto, honey…
Until February 5th, the Museum of Arts and Crafts will feature a representative exhibition of luxury everyday items from the Thyssen-Bornemisza Collection, which represents the works of the greatest German goldsmiths from the 15th to the 18th centuries.
According to the wishes of numerous fans, Zagreb will once again host Lord of the Dance. The two upcoming shows will take place on November 18th at the Dražen Petrović Basketball Centre.
Until November 30th, the Klovićevi Dvori Gallery will feature an exhibition “From Statue to Confession, self-portrait – autobiography”, which consists of over a hundred works by traditional, as well as contemporary, Croatian artists.
