You have a chance to find out before the beginning of March next year if you visit the Croatian Natural History Museum where an interesting exhibition titled “Sutures, Structures, Textures” is being held. The exhibition is an unusual representation of the ties between geology and palaeontology as inspiration for new design motifs!
If you are interested in one of the most important events of modern Croatian history, the military operation Storm, the last major operation of the Homeland War, you should know that the most interesting details from it have been presented in an exhibition featured at the Technical Museum, which consists of military scale models of vehicles that participated in the operation. The exhibition can be viewed until 18th November.

Have you ever wondered, whilst writing with a mechanical pencil, who invented it? If you find yourself in the Croatian capital, you have an ideal opportunity to learn more about the mechanical pencil – popularly known as penkala in Croatia. Its inventor, Slavoljub Penkala, opened one of the largest writing implement factories in the world in the early 20th century right here in Zagreb.
The wish of famous Egyptian industrial designer, Karim Rashid, came true when his exhibition, “The Ideology of Beauty”, was put on display at Zagreb’s Museum of Contemporary Art. The museum building itself had left a great impression on him, and we are sure his works will leave a great impression on the audience.
