The new four-star Academia Hotel was recently opened in the centrally located pedestrian zone of Tkalčićeva Street, in the vicinity of the most significant landmarks in Zagreb, all of which can be reached on foot in no time.
The popular UK daily newspaper The Sun has included Zagreb’s Swanky Mint Hostel on its list of the seven best European hostels for the laid-back traveller that knows how to have fun and is looking for affordable luxury.
Santa Claus will be in Zagreb on December 6th and 7th. He will come all the way from Rovaniemi to visit the good children. The dates of the visit have not been chosen by chance. Indeed, he has decided to arrive on the Finnish Independence Day and enhance the magic to Zagreb’s winter fairytale.
Zagreb has put special efforts in preparing this year’s Advent festivities as it is poised to defend its Best European Christmas Market title in a ten-day online voting period which will be organised by the European Best Destination between December 2nd and 12th .
Between December 31st 2016 and January 6th 2017, Arena Zagreb will be the venue for the Croatia Winter Music Festival. It will be a spectacular New Year’s celebration featuring performances by some of the best known DJs in the world.
During this Advent, Zagreb visitors can use their smartphones to combine the most romantic tradition of kissing under the mistletoe with a sight-seeing tour of the city
In order to help citizens and numerous tourists experience Zagreb’s winter fairytale, public transport in the city will be free on weekends during Advent.
Until February 26th 2017, the Museum of Arts and Crafts will feature the exhibition “The Nutcracker – The Most Beautiful Christmas Fairy Tale”. Ticket sales started even before the exhibition was opened due to major public interest for this unique museum presentation of the masterpiece of classical ballet.
Jesse Eisenberg a passé l'automne 2007 à Zagreb. Zagreb est une ville étonnante. J'ai apprécié les visites des vieux quartiers de la ville, et le soir je sortais aux clubs. J'ai été ravi par le fait que cette vile se trouve près de l'Autriche et l'Italie, alors j'allais à Venise, Milan, Ljubljana, Graz, Split pour passer mes week-ends.

Zagreb est resté dans ma mémoire comme une belle ville. Les gens que j'y ai rencontré étaient très gentils, ils m'ont offert un accueil chaleureux. Le public, lui aussi, était belle. En effet, ce concert m'était comme un beau souvenir.
