For 150 years, the streets of Zagreb’s Upper Town have been illuminated by gas lanterns. Just like in the olden times, they are manually turned on and off by gas lamp men.

Until April 6th, the Modern Gallery will feature the largest retrospective, travelling exhibition of works by a master of Croatian Modernism, Miroslav Kraljević, which will also be displayed in Venice, Split, Osijek and Dubrovnik after it leaves Zagreb.

Apart from having a star status in her country, South Korean world champion, Kim Yuna, was also the star of the 46th Golden Pirouette, the oldest figure ice-skating competition in the world. The athlete, therefore, brought more than 2000 fans from Japan and Korea to Zagreb.
