For the first time ever, Zagreb will be host to the largest freestyle motocross competition in the world, “The Night of the Jumps”, which will be held at the Zagreb Arena on the 13th and the 14th of November as part of the Indoor Motocross World Championship.

The third edition of the PSSST! festival of silent film, which will take place between the 12th and the 15th of November, will present audiences with the classics of the genre, as well as an excellent selection of contemporary German and Spanish silent films.

The City of Zagreb Tourist Board successfully presented Zagreb’s tourism offer on the Japanese market, making use of an array of attractive stories about the city, promotional films in the Japanese language, photographs, as well as an attractive cultural program.

Zaprešić has been proclaimed the most beautiful and tidiest town in Zagreb County as a result of “The Green Flower”, a traditional action which the Tourist Board of Zagreb County has organized for the last eight years in order to evaluate the tidiness of tourist destinations.

The audiences of this year’s Zagreb Film Festival will have an opportunity to see 90 films throughout nine different programs, three of which are new. Many of the record number of films shown at the festival will never reach regular distribution.

The end of October is traditionally reserved for the International Days of Jazz festival. This year’s 19th edition will be an opportunity to mark the 50th anniversary of the Zagreb Jazz Quartet with a line-up of homegrown talent complemented by jazz greats from around the world.

On November 29th the famous British electro-pop band, Pet Shop Boys, will hold a concert at the Zagreb Arena. Appearing in front of their Zagreb fans for the first time in eighteen years, as part of their Pandemonium Tour, they will be promoting their latest studio album, “Yes”.

On November 18th the small hall of Dom sportova sports hall will be the venue for the concert of guitar virtuoso Tommy Emmanuel, who has a great number of faithful fans in Zagreb, and whose concerts are regularly sold-out.
