The exhibition “Dominicans in Croatia” will remain open until the end of March at the Klovićevi Dvori Gallery. For the first time ever in one place, the exhibition brings together a collection of artifacts from the rich treasuries of the monasteries and churches of the Dominican Order, which has been present in Croatia for nearly eight centuries.

Until the end of January, the visitors of the Art Pavilion can see the exhibition “A Hundred Top Works of Croatian Art, 1850-1950” from the Belgrade National Museum collection. The works on display are mostly unknown to the Croatian general public.

During the ten years of its existence, the Tourist Board of Zagreb County, which includes the surroundings of Zagreb, has made a giant leap in the upgrading of its tourist offer and positioning the county as an attractive, year-round tourist area with a total of 13 key tourist destination. The green oasis of Zagreb, rich in history, well preserved nature, tradition and cultural heritage concentrated in the county’s nine towns and four municipalities has been drawing an increasing number of domestic and foreign guests.

Zagreb will host the 150 best European male and female skaters from 41 countries at the European Figure Skating Championship between 21 and 28 January at Dom Sportova Sports Hall. The competition will be held under the high auspices of the President of the Republic of Croatia, Stjepan Mesić.
