Over 300 leading experts in wine tourism, viticulture and gastronomy will gather at Zagreb's Esplanade Hotel on 15 and 16 March to participate in the international conference of wine tourism, IWINETC.
British stand-up comedy legend, Eddie Izzard, who has already conquered Madison Square Garden, London’s Wembley Stadium and O2 Arena, as well as many other venues in cities across the globe with his humour, will begin his largest world tour to date. He will, in fact, start with Croatia, where he will hold performances in Zagreb, Dubrovnik and Osijek.
To the great joy of all Croatian K1 fans, for the first time in history, this year’s K1 WGP finals will not be taking place in Japan but rather in the Croatian capital, which is a major exclusive for the city, the country and all of Europe. This decision was made mostly thanks to the best known Croatian K1 fighter, Mirko Filipović, whom the audience will have the opportunity to support in this great final on 15 March at Arena Zagreb.
On 15 June, Zagreb’s Dom Sportova sports hall will be host to the hard rock band Whitesnake. Since 2011, they have been on their world tour, named “Forevermore” after their latest album.
For the sixth consecutive year, Zagreb’s Museum of Contemporary Art and T-Croatian Telecom present the exhibition titled T-HTaward@msu.hr which displays the best works of contemporary visual arts produced by Croatian artists. This year’s exhibition will remain open between 22 February and 24 March. Entrance is free.
One of the best known mystical music attractions in the world, Gregorian, is once again coming to Zagreb on 3 April. They will promote their latest album, “Epic Chants”, as part of their large 'Epic Chants Tour 2013'. According to producers of the tour, it will be their greatest spectacle to date.
Once again, Zagreb’s Žar Ptica Theatre will be host to the international review of the best plays by professional children’s theatres, named the 'Naj, Naj, Naj Festival', which will take place for the 13th “lucky” consecutive year, between 22 and 27 March.
Glass, My Second Body – a display by the Croatian artist Gordana Drinković, who uses her breath, imagination and skill to create items from glass, is the latest exciting exhibition opened to visitors at Zagreb’s Museum of Arts and Crafts.
