The biggest global tourist website, TripAdvisor, which offers advice on travel, has recently given Segway City Tour Zagreb a certificate of excellence, rating it with highest grades for a free time offer.

If you like science fiction, horror and nightmare films, Zagreb has prepared yet another summer festival just for you: the Fantastic Zagreb Film Festival! This event will be taking place each night between the 2nd and the 9th of July.

On October 1st, the mega-famous pop-star Britney Spears will be performing a concert at the Zagreb Arena as part of her latest world tour “Femme Fatale”. Organizers are announcing an excellent spectacle, as characteristic of all of her concerts.

Along with many things that Zagreb has to offer, which make it a true metropolis, the city has recently introduced its first fair trade cafe bar and craft shop: Muzungu. Visitors can enjoy the flavours of real African coffee in an original ambiance, as well as purchase indigenous souvenirs and, thereby, help to improve the lives of African women.

Between the 20th and the 24th of July, Zagreb’s main square of Ban Josip Jelačić will once again be the centre of global folklore. All who are interested will have the opportunity to see the colourful traditions and heritage from numerous European countries, as well as Chile, Argentina, New Zealand, the United States, etc.

As an increasingly interesting worldwide congress destination, Zagreb has recently been chosen to host the annual European Cities Marketing conference, which numbers 120 members from over 100 cities in 32 countries.

In just several months, Zagreb has acquired three new private museums, the most recent of which, Lauba – People and Art House, opened in mid-June. This newest museum represents a unique concept of contemporary art and urban content.

As part of his World Tour 2011, charismatic musician Jean-Michael Jarre will hold a concert at Zagreb’s Arena on October 11th, for which tickets can already be purchased.
